Welcome to today’s Mandarin lesson! In this lesson, you will learn how to introduce yourself clearly and confidently using three key sentence patterns: saying your name, your hobbies, and your nationality. You already have the background knowledge you need such as greetings, numbers, and tones, so today’s goal is to apply what you know in real communication. By the end of this lesson, you should be able to ask and answer simple personal questions in Mandarin using accurate tones and correct sentence structures. This lesson is designed to help you build essential conversational skills, practise culturally appropriate language use, and prepare for future topics like family, hobbies, and everyday routines.
Follow the steps on this website, complete the games and activities, and practise speaking aloud as you go.
You will need your notebook to write answers and your teacher will check this at the end of class.
The tasks that you are required to write in your notebook will be writte in this format.
